Coworking Europe 2021: Don’t Miss It!

We have some bittersweet news to be sharing with you. While we were so looking forward to seeing many of you in Vienna for Coworking Europe 2021, it was announced today that the event will now be entirely virtual. While it is sad we will no longer be seeing each other in person; we are delighted that this fantastic event is still going ahead in some form.

So, don’t you worry, the great and the good of coworking will be assembling for this year’s Coworking Europe conference, just in a slightly different format.

This three-day extravaganza is packed full of interesting and exciting talks and activities that will provide an amazing chance to hear all about the industry landscape, and how the future is looking. Nexudus is proud to be a sponsor of this event and looking forward to engaging with as many of you as possible at this virtual event.

In this preview article, we will look forward to a selection of sessions that we think will be especially enlightening.

Sessions to look out for

With so many fascinating sessions on the slate for this three-day event, it’s difficult to pick out just a few. The following that we will mention should give you a taste of what is to come…

Technologies to optimise coworking management’s processes. What are the latest evolutions and possibilities?

This panel discussion promises to be a good one, and even better, it will feature Nexudus’ co-founder, Adrian Palacios! Adrian will be joined by Robert Piporan of eZeep, as well as representatives from essensys and ZapFloor.

Not only will this session take in some of the biggest developments in coworking management technology over the past year, but will also be looking forwards to what can expect from technology over the coming years.

So, make sure you don’t miss this one!

Learn how to transform Diversity and Inclusion into a driver of growth for your community, membership and revenue

This session will feature ten of the best minds in coworking, looking at how coworking spaces can nurture a culture of Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Accessibility. This panel discussion will feature Nexudus team member, Carmen Lecuane, alongside other big names in the industry.

We really can wait for this one, and encourage as many of you as possible to make sure you catch it! Even if you aren't attending the conference itself, you can sign up for a free streaming link to this session here.

How to put access control systems at the core of coworking space’s process optimisation

As we mentioned in a recent article access control systems are a vital technological tool for all coworking spaces. This panel discussion, however, will take a look at how many other processes can be improved through the integration with access control systems. This session will include experts from ISEO and Salto Systems, who will be able to give a deeper insight into what these systems are capable of.

How to re-think the workspace lay-out in post-pandemic times and the learning for Flex

This talk, taking place on the final day of the conference, is relevant to every coworking space. During the pandemic, architects and designers had to re-think workplace space allocations. Will this change as we move into a post-covid world? With the rise of the home office and the need for healthier environments what needs to change? And what are the lessons for Flex operators?

This talk will include Eva Varakova, Origameo and Jakub Duncko, HubHub/Qubes, and promises to be an insightful session.

Obviously, these are just a few of the sessions taking place. For a comprehensive look at the schedule, head over and view the conference programme.

Unconference sessions

As is something of a tradition at Coworking Europe conferences, Day 2 will include several ‘Unconference’ sessions. Thankfully, the fact the conference has been moved to a virtual setting will not impact this too much, as it was always the plan for these sessions to be held virtually any way.

In the morning delegates will come together to collectively curate the Unconference sessions of the day from suggestions put forward over the previous days of the conference. While four of these topics will be selected from suggestions, there will be one session on the topic of How to use data at best to optimise the management of your coworking space.

As usual, these sessions look to be a highlight of the conference, as they are always interesting, engaging and throw up some very interesting takeaways.

We are disappointed as all of you that we won't be able to meet in person, regardless of this, the conference is still shaping up to be a fantastic few days of networking and learning.

We can wait to see you all participating from wherever you are based!

We’ll see you there!
