Five integrations for taking payments in your coworking or flex workspace
Taking payments is an essential part of running any workspace. However, without having the process integrated with your workspace management software it can quickly become an overly complex and time-consuming task.
Thankfully, there are lots of different integrations out there that streamline and simplify this entire process, and will automatically update all of your records directly in your workspace management software. This means you can spend more time focussing on other aspects of your workspace.

1. Stripe
The first payment integration we are going to discuss is Stripe. One of the major benefits of Strips is how it is able to scale alongside your workspace. Regardless of if you are running a single, small workspace, or a larger network of spaces, the Stripe integration will scale up along with your coworking or flex space network. In the same vein, Stripe supports over 135 different currencies and dozens of different payment methods, meaning even if your network of workspace stretches across the globe, you can stick with one, singular payment gateway.
2. GoCardless
GoCardless is a fantastic solution for taking payments for your customers’ invoices via Direct Debit transactions. Once a member provides valid payment details, payment will be taken automatically once invoices are raised in Nexudus.
GoCardless’ seamless integration with Nexudus means that invoices in the Nexudus Admin panel will automatically be marked as paid as soon the payment has been taken. This makes it even easier for you to keep track of your space’s finances, especially when used in conjunction with the reporting tools, such as Nexudus Explore.
3. Square PoS
For in-person payments for all manner of things, you can’t get a whole lot better than Square PoS. It is quick and easy for workspace operators to transfer products and resources from Nexudus into your Square account. As soon as payment is taken all data will be seamlessly uploaded to Nexudus, making sure all your records are in sync and up to date.
One of the best things about Square PoS is its ease of use. Its simple and intuitive UX makes it easy for all your team members to get used to the system and minimises the possibility of errors. 4. PayPal

Most people will already have a PayPal account, so will quickly be able to pay their invoices using the payment details they have already set up.
Another plus point of PayPal being such a well known and widely used payment gateway is that it supports an enormous range of currencies. This means, regardless of where your coworking or flex workspace is located, the chances are that PayPal will be able to process that currency.

5. NexKiosk
While not strictly being a payment gateway, NexKiosk is a fantastic way for your workspace to allow members to make purchases in your space with absolute ease and efficiency. The NexKiosk app also gives you the flexibility to enable your community to make purchases either autonomously or through a workspace operator. This is perfect if you run an ‘Honesty Bar’-type system for the sale of food and drink, for example.
Any product sold through the NexKiosk app is automatically updated to Nexudus. Depending on how you chose to operate the system, purchases will either be added directly to customer invoices or paid for on the spot through a card reader, if for example, you use NexKiosk in conjunction with an ePoS system such as Square PoS.
What’s more, is that NexKiosk can be run off any Android or iOS tablet. This makes it an extremely cost-effective way to sell products to your workspace users.
